Reuben Advani is a seasoned financial executive and author. Reuben began his career with the Wall Street bank, Morgan Stanley where he worked in the firm’s debt capital markets group. He later joined the firm’s corporate finance group where he worked on debt and equity offerings for multi-national energy companies. After Morgan Stanley, Reuben joined Sony Corporation where he evaluated acquisition targets and developed an equity option pricing model. Reuben then went on to found, build, and sell a financial education company that offered finance courses to corporations and law firms worldwide.
Artem Baker is an accomplished corporate development and finance professional with 15+ years of experience and is currently the Chief Strategy Officer at Smart Start, a leading ignition interlock device provider. Art’s areas of expertise include financial modeling, valuation, M&A, operational finance, budgeting, forecasting, capital markets, negotiations and new business development. He is an active member of professional community and served on the board of Financial Executives International.
Ashish Kohli is a seasoned investment banker with over 15 years of transaction experience across all product groups of investment banking and private equity including leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, private placements, IPOs and secondary offerings, high yield debt and restructuring. He also led IB Training programs in all the firms where he worked including leading the global analyst and associate training program at HSBC in NY and London.
Chris Collins is an accomplished finance professional with over 15 years of experience in investment banking and M&A. Chris’s areas of expertise include financial modeling, valuation, M&A, forecasting and deal structuring. Previously Chris was a Vice President with M&S Fairway Capital Partners, a boutique Houston-based investment banking firm. He also had previous roles with FMI Capital Advisors and Whitley Penn, an accounting and consulting firm where he consulted on M&A transactions.
Chuck Bush is IBI's President & CEO and serves as an IBI instructor. He is also Managing Director of Great Road Capital, Inc. a boutique investment bank he founded in 2004. Chuck has over 25 years of experience as an investment banker, consultant, and Chief Financial Officer with a track record of originating complex financial transactions, including senior and mezzanine debt, equity, and M&A transactions. He has originated and participated in over $7 billion of transactions. Chuck is an expert in building dynamic financial models that investors, company executives, and business owners rely on to make intelligent, informed financial and strategic decisions.
Emily Advani brings years of experience in management and communications to her role as IBI's VP of Operations & Communications. Emily started her career in higher education advising universities on fundraising campaigns including spearheading a record-breaking $5 million annual fund campaign. She later went on to a career in media in which she served as a National News Correspondent in Washington D.C. for KLBK/KMAC as well as serving as anchor for Comtex News' Financial News Network Online. Additionally, she was a producer/host for Radio Disney.
